Alien Sun

What do you do with wilty tulips? I felt like I didn't get to enjoy my tulips long enough, so my answer to that question is... Press the petals! I'm getting more than one use out of old college text books ;) Once I had the dried petals I had this vision of a sun with petals for rays, and so this alien sun was born.

If I only show part of my face, I'm mysterious, right?!

Painted Flowers

My bike was something I dreamed of for a long time. I remember, back in junior high, telling a cousin I wanted a beach cruiser. He cracked up and told me how dorky I would look "beach cruising" through a parking lot in Arizona!! What! No!
He didn't understand that I had been riding my brother's too-small-for-me bike around my neighborhood, hunched over the handle bars with my knees hitting my stomach... :P Anyways, many years later, I bought a cruiser and had the silly desire to paint it.

Prickly Pear Tea Pt. II

The second part of our Prickly Pear narrative!

Sleepy from your nap, you need something to awaken. And you've packed just the thing, Prickly Pear Tea! A sweet, succulent, Southwest delight. A perfect sunny cup of AZ. (How you kept it so cold and refreshing without your cooler, I don't know, but kudos.) So, settle down with the rest of the wild, desert things for an afternoon treat...

Prickly Pear Tea Pt. I

Today, my cousin, Lucy, and I bring you a new narrative set!

Prickly Pear Tea is best saved for a bright, sunny day. Preferably a day you have saved all for yourself! You step outside to feel some warm rays on your skin, but you find can't turn back indoors... That's when you decide to pack up your things and head out, to find what else is being warmed by that same hot sun.

You'll need a little nap of course... in the cool afternoon shade.
To be continued... Part II will be up on Wednesday, so check back in!

Until then, what story do you see in these pictures? I'd love to know!
